The "You Talkin' To Me?" display is a wonderful amalgamation of '70s sultry maxi hats & sassy, little hotpants.'50s granny bloomers, swimwear & super-cute, summery floral print.s were also amongst the display. With the extra touch of notifiable '90s jewellery (reminiscent of my childhood) & denim thrown into this eclectic mix, each mannequin is adorned in an array of items which seemingly create a new era all together.

Ladies & Gentlemen, Silence, Please...
Back in January, as silent film, The Artist, hit the cinemas & adorned the silver screens, Beyond Retro introduced their store theme 'Silent Film' with couldn't have been more fortuitous for them.
This grand display emulated the golden era of the cinematic elegance & glamour of the 1920s. Strictly monochrome is it's appearance, with hints of grey, Beyond Retro payed graceful to the biggest movies of the era & genre, featuring what can only be described as "award- performances from an ensemble cast including evening and winter dresses, sequins, lace, furs and vintage hats."
The silent era epitomised the common saying that a picture is worth a thousand words & indeed, so do these from the website...
Lots of Love,
